IAA YOUNG RESEARCHER AWARD 2025
Applications are invited from Life Members of the Indian Accounting Association for the IAA Young Researcher Award 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant must have published five research papers as Single Author or First Author in peer-reviewed journals in the field of accounting and related areas.
- Papers published in edited volumes, books, conference proceedings, or magazines will not be considered.
- All five papers must have been published during the last five years — from June 1, 2020 to May 31, 2025.
- The applicant’s age must not exceed 35 years as on May 31, 2025.
Submission Requirements:
Applicants are required to submit two sets of scanned research papers in PDF format:
- Identified Set:
- Five individual scanned PDF copies of the research papers, with the author’s name clearly visible on each.
- Anonymous Set:
- The same five research papers, each as a separate PDF, but with no indication of the author’s identity anywhere in the paper (i.e., anonymized versions).
Evaluation Criteria:
Each journal-published paper will be evaluated on the following parameters, with a total of 20 marks per paper:

- Total Score: 100 marks (5 papers × 20 marks each)
- The applicant with the highest total score out of 100 will be conferred the award.
- The decision of IAA will be final in case of any dispute.
